Why Join Scouting?

In 1930, the Boy Scouts of America created a new opportunity called Cub Scouting for boys younger than Boy Scout age. A year-round, home-centered program used by chartered organizations, Cub Scouting emphasizes involvement between boys and their parents, adult leaders, and friends. In the multidimensional plan of the Boy Scouts of America, Cub Scouting is where it all begins.

Scouts Working To Support Vermont Children's Hospital

Cub Scout Pack 620 and Pack 621 of Jericho and Underhill, VT, are teaming up to be "Change Bandits" as part in 98.9 WOKO's annual Big Change Roundup to support Vermont Children's Hospital at Fletcher Allen Healthcare in Burlington, VT. In addition to donations from family and friends, the Cub Scouts have also put canisters in area stores in an attempt to collect donations throughout the month of February. Look for the various canisters specifically marked for this event.

For more information about WOKO's annual event, visit their website at www.WOKO.com or visit the Vermont Children's Hospital website at www.fahc.org/childrens_hospital/.

If you would like to make a private donation, please feel free to contact us directly through the email address here, and we will gladly arrange for your support (cubpack620@aol.com).
